WVU Welcome Reception & Information Fair The WVU Welcome Reception is an excellent opportunity for new staff to meet interim WVU President C. Peter Magrath who will share with new staff the history, mission, and purpose of WVU. The Reception is a semi-annual event where new staff from across the campus will get to meet each other and shop the fair for essential information on all services, programs, and social events available to staff at WVU. A tour of the WVU Campus is included in this event. After attending a Benefits Orientation, new classified and non-classified employees will receive a letter of welcome and an invitation to attend the Welcome Reception.
