Trainer support services are also available. And, the T&D unit maintains a reference library with audio, visual and hard copy development tools for use by WVU employees. To help this effort, a combination of flexible work hours, annual leave, and work release time may be used to permit full-time regular employees to attend classes. These options apply to the pursuit of a General Equivalency Diploma, additional job-related training (Vo-Tech,) or WVU undergraduate or graduate level study.     A: Professional Development Program West Virginia University offers full-time regular employees who have completed at least four years of continuous full-time employment at the University are eligible to participate in one of two professional development programs. These professional development programs are separate but similar. One program covers faculty, FE/AP, and non-classified employees, while another program exists for classified employees. The maximum length of a professional development activity and the amount of compensation provided, if any are dependent upon the employee's length of service.
