    A: T&D Resource Library and Customized Assistance
    In addition to the providing workshops described in the T&D Catalog, the T&D staff are available to help evaluate department training needs and design programs to meet these needs, to identify and evaluate local workshop offerings, and to assist in refining training programs. Trainer support services are also available. And, the T&D unit maintains a reference library with audio, visual and hard copy development tools for use by WVU employees.     A: Employee Education at WVU
    West Virginia University encourages employees to take advantage of educational opportunities for career development & self- improvement. To help this effort, a combination of flexible work hours, annual leave, and work release time may be used to permit full-time regular employees to attend classes. These options apply to the pursuit of a General Equivalency Diploma, additional job-related training (Vo-Tech,) or WVU undergraduate or graduate level study.     A: Professional Development Program West Virginia University offers full-time regular employees who have completed at least four years of continuous full-time employment at the University are eligible to participate in one of two professional development programs. These professional development programs are separate but similar. One program covers faculty, FE/AP, and non-classified employees, while another program exists for classified employees. The maximum length of a professional development activity and the amount of compensation provided, if any are dependent upon the employee's length of service.
