Catastrophic Leave West Virginia University complies with the provisions of the State Catastrophic Leave Act, as outlined in WV Code �18B-9-10. This Act establishes a system of leave donation and usage among the WVU workforce which enables classified and non-classified full-time regular employees who are facing qualifying medical situations and have exhausted their leave accruals to maintain their income.
