WVU, along with the State of West Virginia, provides an extremely competitive benefits package to its eligible employees. Your benefits are a sizeable amount of your overall compensation. Your long-term needs and those of your family are very important, and warrant regular review. An open enrollment period is held annually in the spring to provide employees an opportunity to select health/life benefit plans for the next year. Open Enrollment is an ideal time to take inventory of all plans, coverage types, and beneficiaries.
